I'll definitely update here. For now the only response I'm waiting is the online form for IRCC, and I don't think it will be more helpful than my previous calls. Again a big thanks to you and all other folks here. You're all very kind and helpful.

Thanks for all the help. I just did a bunch of calls. IRCC told me to contact VFS global. VFS told me to contact consulate. Consulate told me they don't have access to the applications and send me back to VFS. So now I'm stucked in a loophole.

Ah I think I understand what you are saying. I’m just a little worried about the custom if they won’t let me pass without a study permit.

But on the visa page, it is written S-1, student instead of V-1 visitor. How's that not a problem?

Hi I applied a visitor visa and got approved. However when I got my passport back this morning, I found they made a mistake and issued me a student visa instead of visitor visa. How can I get help to fix this?
