I am also from OINP and a software engineer with COPR expiring on May 10, 2021. I believe we need to wait for the restrictions to be lifted. My guess is that for your case, since you have your Visa valid until October, you'll not face any issue. Most probably borders are open by October.

@Haydi Congrats! A quick question. Did you have your passport stamped again for visa re-issuance(I mean did you send it to VAC again)? Or was it all just electronically extended?

That's right. So, is it like sending a passport to the VAC centers again and getting another Visa labelled? Or They could just send us an AL?

That's very unfortunate. When COPRs expire, it'll be hard to extend them. I hope they come up with something by March 2021...

They have silently changed this section on their website. Even with expiring COPR we can't travel. Any thoughts?

Right. For my current additional, I also submitted "Criminal Records Check Reply" without Lapsed Records +7 pages of explanation!. I hope this time they understand and accept my document.

Great news! So you'd uploaded the "Background Check Certificate" and they asked for "Criminals Records Check Reply" ? Or you'd uploaded "Criminals Records Check Reply" without the lapsed records and they asked you to provide one with the lapsed records?

Hi there. I was wondering if you were successful in your LoE for the matter? I'm in the same situation. Last time I sent the PCC with LoE explaining everything but they again are asking the same thing. Seems like the officer is not willing to accept that this is a real issue.

I'm actually an outland application, so I'm not living in Canada. Do you think it's good to email Korean Consulate in Toronto? How about calling the IRCC? Do they answer these types of inquiries on the phone?
