I phoned them yesterday and sent an email to IRCC.DNSCRCitizenshipCeremony-CeremonieCitoyenneteSCRRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca, but still haven't received it. I am now worried it's either not going ahead or I won't be able to join online this Saturday. Anything else I can do? Should I phone them again?

The decision is up to you, but ultimately you are closing one door and gaining the ability to vote and hold a Canadian passport. Nobody knows what the future holds, so I always say the more options / flexibility you have the better. Also, perhaps your children would want to study in Europe one...

The time it takes is entirely random. Some get LPP in a few weeks others wait months and sometimes more than a year. I've been waiting since June so I requested GCMS notes yesterday to see where it's stuck.

Also Scarborough and my timeline up to background check is about a month ahead of yours and no LPP yet. Based on the tracker sheet, LPP should be done by middle October to beginning Nov for most.

Okay makes sense. Either way, I wouldn't withdraw my citizenship application if I were you. Just raise a webform to make them aware of it. That way they can't say you misrepresented.

Based on what you said your situation shouldn't prevent you from becoming a citizen unless you are still under investigation, but you should make IRCC aware of the charge and that it was dropped...
