My timelines FYI: Applied BOWP 10/13/2021. BOWP approved 02/27/2022. Applied TRV 03/02/2022. Passport request 03/16/2022. Mailed passport to Ottawa 03/19/2022. Arrived at Ottawa office 03/22/2022 Passport stamped and mailed back 03/26/2022. Passport ETA 03/29/2022.

It took 2 weeks for me to get passport request. Mailed it today, let’s see how long it takes.

They aren’t processing BC PNPs. BC should just be independent from Canada and form Cascadia republic with Washington and Oregon

It’s valid for two years. I guess they just sorta gauged how long your PR is going to take then give you the work permit duration based off of that

Yea, I am in Canada now and waiting on PR process, this year I enrolled in H1b with a top paying American company. I mean Canada is good, but not worth cutting my take home pay in half. Hopefully I can get both H1 and PR Canada this year

Something good y’all wanna hear? Last Thursday inland wp processing time was 129 days, this week it turned to be 130 days, which means they started processing (it’s been increasing 5-7 days every week previously)

I think they will mail you a work permit. At least that’s what my lawyer told me.
