Do any of you guys have any information with regards to the list of your items that you are planning to bring to Canada in the future? what are the guidelines for preparing it? and where does that need to get submitted once you spouse arrives in the airport in Canada?

Yep, same here! That could be the case. Frustrating process! However, i think Sara will get hers' much sooner, as she lives in Turkey.

I got my tracking number also but what I am starting to question is if this number is for the whole application and not just the passport. In other words, Having that tracking number might not necessarily mean that they have gotten our passports. What do you guys think? Could this be the case?

Do not worry, everything is taking much longer than usual. Most of us here who got our passport request letters have been waiting for well over a year. hopefully you will hear from them soon.

I think they just havent got to it yet. they sent our passport on sept 15 and when I checked the tracking # this morning, it shows that they just started processing it yesterday.

Mehdi, you are from Iran and sent your passport using Nilgam Safar, correct? What information did you provide VFS, to get your tracking number?

No tracking # yet. The last text message we got says that the passport has been sent to the embassy.

Ali, was there a flight today? I think they told my wife, Wednesday is when they have a flight to send the passports. And yes, hopefully, it will come before the brutal winter.

Hopefully, issuing the visa will not take as long as the passport request letter did, after receiving the pre-arrival letter on July 1st (about 2 months).

Oh, really! May I ask how long the process for the visitor visa took? Also have you already gotten your visa issued on your passport? Are you from Iran (as the timing maybe different per country of origin)? Any help in this respect would be really appreciated.

Do you know if anyone has been able to get the visitor visa while waiting for their permanent residence application to get processed? I was told you can only have one application in process at a time.
