Honestly, whenever they asked for something we got it in within a day or two. We prayed hard and I got my MP to find out stuff for us. But rest assured there’s no rhyme or reason to how they work. I have two friends who’s process was complete within three months.

We are in the very same situation. I’ll keep the group posted on whether he actually gets into Canada amidst all of this madness. But keep in mind the COPR is usually valid for awhile - especially if the medically has just recently been done. I wouldn’t get too worried just yet. They are still...

My husband was told he was approved and he would get an email within a week but you know what, we did not get an email for over two months. So even if you don’t hear anything keep the faith! Something will come eventually.

Yes, they sent the request and we brought the new information to the medical office and had the medical completed. I hate that they make us do medicals only for them to expire. Why not ask for them when they absolutely need them. I’m sorry you might have to redo three of them!

Mexico can definitely be reached by phone. If you go to mexico.gc.ca and hit contact us, you’ll get their number: 011-52-55-5724-7900. The real question is, why would you call? Unless you live in Mexico that would probably be a pretty expensive call. I would go with email or contacting your MP...

I don’t think it matters. I did not go with my husband and he got approved. I’ve heard some people go and they don’t get called in and others go and they do get called in. As you can see there is no real identifiable process with these folks. If you do not attend in-person and they need to talk...

Did you have an interview? If not, maybe this means you don’t need one. Those are the same things they asked my husband to bring to the interview when he went.

We had to redo and it wasn’t our fault either. Remember they do whatever they want to do and we just have to go with what they say.
