Landing at Pearson5:30pm-connecting flight 7:00pm, can we make it?

I have the same problem - 1h20mins to catch my connecting flight in Toronto to go to Ottawa. If you miss the flight its no biggie - there are flights every hour to Ottawa. the problem is that you will have the retrieve your checked bags - go through customs - and then recheck them, so it will be...

Hi Gayan, I can't answer all of your questions but I think that if it is hard to prove how you intend to reside in Canada then explain how you plan to SEVER TIES with the country you are residing in now. I hope that helps, good luck.

    one quick question

..sorry my answer was kinda vague - I think they during the first stage (ie. Sponsorship Approval) the 37-40 days it takes to make a decision is included in the time when it is first received. For example - I filed my application 01-10-2010 and they only started processing it on 01-11-2010. The...

    one quick question

first stage sponsorship approval - they usually say they have starting processing your application the same day they make a decision - but ecase is so unreliable.

    one quick question

mine was processed the same day too. I think the 37-ish days it takes to process the sponsorship application includes the time it takes sitting in the mail pile. Hopefully it's good news!

Getting a job in Canada sucks

I agree, temp agencies are a really good option. Although I'm Canadian I have used them before and my phone was ringing once a week asking me to work for the gov (2-6 month contracts). I had another job though so i didn't take them. Check Maxsys, ExcelHR, Turtle Island Staffing etc.. or go to...

    What's next after RPRF Paid

if they asked you to pay the RPRF it usually means you have unofficially been accepted. If everyone is done properly then the next step is the Passport Request.

Hey, I had the exact same dilemma. I wasn't going to return unless my boyfriend was approved. I didn't have an apartment or job lined up. I had a plane ticket to go home in December and never took the flight since his status still wasn't approved. All i had was a letter from my parents stating...

guuuh, good news and bad news for me.. i just received an email requestion payment for the Right of Permanent Residence Fee. I didn't pay it earlier since i was under the impression we could pay it once my boyfriend was approved (so long as he paid before he landed in canada) ... we are...
