If you have passed criminality, then no need to send new PCCs without being told to. Evertything was locked the moment you completed your submission. Also, if your POF showed that you had enough funds when you submitted everything, then it is also fine. Just wait to see if they send any request...

I wasn't saying that you're resenting them. Just occasionally saw some people would get a bit anxious and grumpy in the forum. While I completely understand what they're going through, I just feel there must be healthier ways to channel the anxiety. Sorry for the confusion.

Totally agree with you on how heavy the responsibilities those officers are shouldering. It's not a easy job. No need to place blame or show resentment of any sort. My philosophy would always be doing everything you can to distract yourself from checking your account every 15 minutes. Eat, shop...

That was weird. But I'm sure it's not something you could do. Their system is under maintenance, so technical glitches might happen. I called them about two hours ago, and the agent was able to open my files. Don't sweat too much. Call them back tomorrow or just talk to an agent.

It's a mystery. Better convince yourself it's not the time yet... My file is also in Ottawa, eligibility and security not started. I guess the files are distributed based on regions, not NOCs. I saw so many applicants in India got their PPRs so fast, so I used to be so jealous... Maybe I was...

I don't think you need to put the NOC number on your reference letter. Some people submit additional or revised reference letter because their job descriptions do not seem to match what they claimed on the application form. My guess is some jobs are a little complicated and VO might have...

Moving to local office sometimes means they have finished everything and will let local office to issue the official PPR mail. You could wait for a few days and it might be good news!

Dunno. Canadians are so nice, even their ghosts, who only bring good news to good kids, kinda like Santa. They might have different job descriptions from ghosts in other countries. Hahahaha

I might not be able to have a good time if some Canadian ghost still hasn't visited me yet. Planning to save the big blast vacation/drinking marathon/perhaps more shopping adventures to when the long wait is finished with good news. Stay tuned!

Completely devoted to online shopping over the past weekend, which I find quite theraputic! I will call nice officers when I reach 6 months post AOR. Now I have nice things to keep me happy till then.:)
