    Yup, my PA ended up going to Düsseldorf for his as well. He said the service was pretty fast and you don't need an appointment. Funny enough when he was there they told him they were eventually (sometime next year) going to open a VAC in The Netherlands.

    PA is the one who required the police check. The Netherlands doesn't allow up front pcc's so had to wait for the notice in order to submit one. With the initial application we sent in the police consent form.

    I know for some countries you cannot get a police certificate upfront so you have to send in the consent form when you submit your application.     Just gotta be patient and don't worry so much. I received my AOR1 on July 12th and then nothing till I got biometric request on July 29th (came around 7-8pm EST). So that's a 17 days waiting time before anything changed. Good luck maybe you'll get bio request before I did.
