    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Hello! Can anyone provide their experience for the arrival process in Toronto Pearson? My grandparents are due to arrive soon, but they do not speak much English. I am worried that they will face difficulties due to the language barrier. Are they required to go to the immigration counter after...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Hi all, A couple of questions. 1. I left the UCI for the main applicant blank. I just realized that I could have looked it up from his previous visa to Canada. Hopefully it is not a big deal, is it? 2. Given that I did not enter the UCI, and did not receive AOR yet, is there any way to look...

FYI 5768 Question 7 Hi. If you can't type into the box for question 7, you may write your family size with a pen after printing the completed form. We are looking into this. https://twitter.com/CitImmCanada/status/1138469986538856448

IMM5768 June 2019 Question 7 does not allow typing anything in the box. Should I submit the old form? Or handwrite after printing?

I am also seeing the old form. Are people submitting the newer form?

Sorry for posting the 4th message in the row. IMM5768 seems to be also updated: 06/2019. I'm re-doing this one as well. However, looks like they broke the form! I cannot enter anything in the field for question 7 (total number of persons). Is anyone experiencing the same issue?

Also, to note, the generated barcode does seem to include the date when the form is validated. Might be important, in case if you're looking to put an earlier date for the signature or something...

Looks like this app can scan the generated barcodes -- in case if anyone is paranoid like me and wants to triple check :) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.manateeworks.barcodescanners

I noticed a strange thing about the barcodes (IMM1344). After validating, when I save the file, the barcodes change. I tried it both on a mac and windows. I know Adobe Reader has been very flaky with the barcodes support (I had to downgrade on the mac to Reader X in order for the barcodes to...

I am considering to re-do the forms with the newest that are posted. However, I don't have the time to get them mailed from my grandparents. IRCC said that they will accept scanned forms, but I am kind of nervous about submitting the scanned forms. Has anyone done this? For reference, here's...

The guide says nothing like this. Here's what I see on the guide: Sign, with a hand written signature, and date in the spaces provided. If you are filling it out on the computer: print out the form and sign it with a handwritten signature, in the signature box. If you do not sign and date the...

Ugh... Who updates the forms in the middle of the process! Has anyone called IRCC and confirmed that using the old forms is ok?

Got one more question for the experts. On form Background/Declaration (IMM 5669), my grandfather (person I am sponsoring) wrote his name (in cursive) and signed in the signature box. Would that be a problem? Should he have just signed it without adding his name?

I have some doubts about the photos, would appreciate some help! 1. The guide says: the height of the face measures between 31 mm and 36 mm (1 1/4 inches and 1 7/16 inches) from chin to crown of head (natural top of head). The photos I received have the face dimensions of ~38mm counting from...
