just got off the phone with CIC - I’ve passed all of the checks and it’s been sent to Vancouver for final review! All is done just need to wait for a passport request to seal the deal! fingers crossed they make some progress for you too! ❤️

I never got mine assessed because I truly didn't think it'd count for much (not really a diploma, more like advanced secondary school/university prerequisite) so I'm not sure if that's a path worth going down? Unless your A levels are the highest form of education that you have, I'm not sure...

That's what I've heard - plus a ghost update can happen and disappear within a few hours, so if you miss it, you'll never know you had one! :eek:

Thanks! :) A copy of his passport should suffice, right? I heard a few stories when someone was granted PPR but then after telling CIC that they just got married, it's cancelled... perhaps that's for an outland-spouse situation. Thanks again! :)
