    Bachelor of Law (LLB) ECA

If you go patiently through previous posts on this thread, you’ll easily find your answer. ICES evaluates your LLB as a 4 year Bachelors degree. I know this because that was what they issued to me. I confronted them about it and that is when they put up the FAQ on their website saying that...

    Bachelor of Law (LLB) ECA

Yes, I think that’s okay. What matters is that the envelope containing each transcript is stamped and sealed. If you want to be double sure, you can send them an email or place a call to confirm. But I really think it’s okay.

Yes I believe IQAS mentions on their website that applicants can send their transcripts and other required documents themselves as long as it is in a sealed envelope stamped by the Registrar or whoever is in charge of academic records at the school. You can double-check this on the website to be...

If you need more points, evaluate the BCom too. But if you are evaluating two degrees, it will add to the...

Oh wow. There are more of us. I agree. We need to collectively draw the attention of IRCC to this mess so that they can fix it once and for all. Why is there so much confusion on this issue? Someone told me that another lawyer with the exact same ECA report recently got PPR. This issue either...

No it isn’t. Just a 5 year law degree and a 1 year program at the law school afterwards.

    Bachelor of Law (LLB) ECA

I mean the way it works is you do your 5 year LLB program and then do a one year program at the law school.

No, I don’t have two degrees. LLB is a first degree where I’m from.

No not really. Points for professional degree has been given to LLB holders whose ECA reads exactly 4 year bachelors degree. The credential part says ‘Bachelor of Laws’ but the Canadian equivalency says ‘4 year bachelors degree ‘. But if you haven’t applied for PR yet, best you use IQAS and...
