    CEC April 2019 Applicants

The timeline of my application has been reaching to 1 year and still nothing as of today. So, I decided to order the second ATIP notes to know what IRCC is doing and why my application has been taken up to a year to process. I can't keep waiting without doing anything because it's unusual for a...

Got Procedural Fairness Letter! HELP PLEASE!!

Congratulations! I think every reason is valid and acceptable as long as it is honest and no lies. I also got a great news today after I received PFL questioned about my working period. My eligibility has been finally approved after I submitted an explanation letter 3 weeks ago and after...

Guys, Today, my MP office emailed me that Immigration reached out to them to say that my eligibility has been approved. Security checks are pending. Also, I was told that when it comes to security checks, Immigration suggests them to call in once per month for possible further updates. Great...

It's not good to hear. You can order GCMS notes that help show you why your eligibility is not met. Or you just wait until you can get the letter from IRCC to figure out the reason.

I also got BOWP after more than 3 months but I don't think it's a good sign for our PR applications. Both applications are different and separated. However, everyone has the right to hope. :)

Congratulations! I'm on the same boat as yours cause I have been stuck at Eligibility - Required Review stage for a long time. I submitted all requested documents regarding to the confirmation of my past employer by IRCC and there is no update as of today.

    BOWP - Processing time?

For FYI: I applied for BOWP in Oct 2019 and got approved in Jan 2020. It took more than 3 months to be approved.

Got Procedural Fairness Letter! HELP PLEASE!!

I also got the Procedural Fairness letter on Dec 27th and was given 7 days to submit additional information/documents to allay their concerns regarding my working experience in Canada and foreign. I didn't expect it happened to my file but apparently, I got a tough officer who wants me to give...

    Proof of employment

Write an explanation letter and give more detailed information so that it can't make the immigration officers confused. Otherwise, your application can be delayed or taken longer to process for their confusion.

BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

Your current work permit expired already and your PR and BOWP applications have been in process, so are you on implied status now? If yes, the link above is very clear for your questions, I think. It's very risky to leave out Canada during your implied status.

Thank you. I wish you the same. From my situation and observations here, it could be wrong or problematic in our applications if they take more time/longer to be processed or verified. If any application is over more than 6 months without any update, additional information/documents could be...

My status "Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam on May 16th" had been unchanged until today, which still remained for 9 months. I do not have "you do not need a medical exam" before it is extended today. This latest update came after I received the Procedural Fairness to...

It seems that IRCC has prioritized PNP applications under FSW rather than CEC and other categories. I don't have any proof to support it but it's from my observation in many threads.

Traveling outside Canada while on implied status

Hi guys, I'm on implied status now as my PR application under CEC (inland) has been in process for more than 8 months and I have applied a BOWP for more than 2 months. I am still waiting for the results. I plan to travel to the US in January but due to my implied status, I cannot work anymore...

Extending Health Card while waiting BOWP and PR

There is NO WAY for you to get your OHIP extended until you get either new WP/ BOWP or PR confirmation from IRCC. The purchase of private insurance is the best choice for those who are waiting for the results of PR and WP extension applications. Travel insurance is referred. I have purchased...
