Well, Barrie Service Canada is not a Passport Office - so the mail time can take between 10 to 20 days. However, it does say that if you want to pick up in 10 days you need to pay $20 additional. Did you do that? (Barrie) I applied at Hamilton Mountain Passport Office which has 10 days mail out...

Follow up question - Is it better to get photos clicked at BLS Mississauga? Or should I have them clicked before going to the centre?

Yes, it is $100 appointment for being in the first 4 of the line up - this is what I was told by a friend who recently applied in person at Brampton BLS. I don't doubt her, but there is no other way for me to confirm - I may be wrong.

Welll, I picked it up yesterday. So basically applying at a designated Passport Office gets you the passport within 2 weeks. Applied inperson on 3rd April, received on 15th April.

Canada Post guy did not even knock, just pasted a collection notice. Now I will get my passport tomorrow as I have to pick it up then.

@sunnyb7 right here - ^ this is an example, but I have some other friends too from end of 2023 who had RC8090 as their secondary. Again, I am not concluding, its just something I observed.
