I got my instruction letter a few days before the oath invite letter. But, you should probably expect it in a few days (unless you opted not to get the e-certificate when applying)

You will receive another email with the formal invitation letter in a few days. Your tracker will also be updated shortly. This is good news!

Mine was 1.5-2 hours. The actual ceremony is probably 30 minutes. Most of the time is waiting to be validated.

Appointment is always better. You are in and out in 10-15 minutes. With walk-in, it depends on the waiting line. You could potentially be waiting for hours.

Had my appointment today. Super quick. I did regular service. Was told to come pick it up December 14 (i.e. 10 business days). I travel on December 30, so, hopefully nothing goes wrong.

You will get an email with the formal oath letter. That has instructions on what to do if you are out of country/want to reschedule.

I noticed the same. I think it is confusing because you would expect that IRCC would process applicants that come first in the door. But, it almost seems like they are prioritsing newer applicants. It is kinda weird tbh. The processing time in this page...
