I think they will return it back. the 2-way courier service instruction letter has mentioned this: You must print this email confirmation and submit it along with your passport. Passports received by VFS that do not include this unique email confirmation will be returned at your own expense...

My passport pickup is tomorrow. I will send in both passports. But if he denies to pickup childs, I dont know how to coordinate with vfs and NDVO on this.

how long have you been trying to contact them? I received PPR Oct 31, 2020 with my UCI. I thought one letter covers the spouse and accompanying dependents. but the vfs customer support says he does not have details of my dependent i.e, UCI in their system and hence he wont pickup childs passport.

I received pre-arrival today. 9 months after my application moved to New Delhi Visa Office. Expecting a lengthy wait ahead

Same in my case. I sent a webform a month ago and no response. I tried reaching via call to NDVO, but the automated response says office is closed and only emergency services are available for canadian citizens.
