Anyone with acknowledgement date as 17th December 2022 on OCI Status Enquiry page received updates?

Anyone with a postal application which was updated to "Processing at Consulate General" on 26-Nov-2022 and have received a Acknowledgement on the OCI Website.

I just applied last week and put the thumb impression on the first and the last page. However, I am my spouse both signed below the thumb impression on the second page. Additionally both of us attested all the supporting documents as well.

For surrender certificate, everything can be paid via a debit card or Cash. They need a separate DD for OCI fee only.

For OCI, you will need to pay the OCI fee for $345 via a demand draft / certified cheque in favor of "Consulate General of India, Toronto". All BLS related fee can be paid via debit card / cash at the counter

I am in the same boat. My status changed on Friday evening to Certificate Printed. Called BLS this afternoon and as per representative, we should get it in a week.

Should not be a problem if you submit your spouse's application along with your own. I did the same for my family at the North York center on 1st October. Only thing to note here is make sure you have all the documents self attested and signed.

My understanding is there is a wait time of about 3~4 months (at times 5+ months) after you complete your test and get an invite for OATH. There is no such rule to inform IRCC about your absence from Canada at any stage after you have submitted your citizenship application. The rule here is you...
