Hey guys, I submitted my application on 24 November. I haven't received any update after MEP 24 Dec. Does it take more than six months to get ppr?

Didn't receive PPR even after 6 months

I submitted the application on 24 November and till now I haven't received any email. N in my account the status is "your application is taking longer than usual." Can anyone tell me what does that mean. N can I do anything about it? Thanks
