    Citizenship Taxes PR Question

Hi guys! I got my PR back in January so my citizenship application is still a few years away But I had a quick question! So I've been in Canada since late 2018 and up until early 2020 I had visitor status until I got my Work Permit with my PR application. Now I know that time spent in Canada...

I recently received my PR. My husband who's sponsoring me is on ODSP and works part time. Our application was successful even though he is on ODSP. Our worry is that, although it CLEARLY states that I cannot collect welfare, my Husband's social worker at the Ministry of Social Services, said...

    Spousal Sponsorship and ODSP!

I think there's a misunderstanding. I'm well aware that I have to get a job and I'm not wanting to claim disability benefits that I'm not entitled to but in Ontario when a spouse is on ODSP they can add the other spouse to their benefit unit even if they're not disabled because there's 2 people...

Procedural Fairness Letter - Inland Oct

Yes, he's been on ODSP for the entire period. When we had submitted his application he'd only just started employment at his new job but now he's been there a year. I believe we did submit his most recent tax return (at the time) and bank statements and paystubs. I have an OWP at the moment but...

    ****OCTOBER 2019 Inland Spousal Sponsorship****

Are you the sponsor or the person being sponsored? The sponsor (Canadian citizen etc) is the one who needs the NOA or income documents. At least for Spousal/Common law applications.

    ****OCTOBER 2019 Inland Spousal Sponsorship****

The NOA is only needed for the sponsor not the PA But I know there's another form that the sponsor can get if they don't have their NOA it's called a Proof of Income Statement Option C is what it has to have on it otherwise they need to write a letter of explaining how the sponsor is gonna...

    ****OCTOBER 2019 Inland Spousal Sponsorship****

One thing I just realized is my application was sent via courier via Staples and the sending address on the parcel they used was their address. I assume if it's returned though they'll send it to the address listed in the application?

    ****OCTOBER 2019 Inland Spousal Sponsorship****

Oh! I'm Australian and they sent my police check on special paper. It could be different depending on countries but for me they wanted originals. On the checklist it asked if my husband is working in Canada to provide an original letter of employment with like his hours and stuff and also his...
