Immigration wont ask PA to show any evidence of funds, because your sponsor signs undertaking responsibility for 3 years. I was PA and so were many people in our group and none of them were asked about funds. Good Luck

He could still apply for work permit and be honest about his working without authorization which I am hoping he was on his initial inland spousal sponsorship application. Sooner or later he has to inform the immigration about working without authorization, it is better for him to do it now or...

Good luck in your application.. One advise provide as many evidence as possible so they do not drag you for an interview. (Plenty pictures text messages letters from friends and family, explanation why your parents could not attend it.. )

I just received my passport back with stamp. We were denied in July 2021 and Won our appeal on November 1st 2022. If you are in a genuine relationship you are going to win the battle. Be strong and have a little faith. It will workout in the end:)
