No one can say or claim that one is better than the other . . I'd say re-take IELTS as you are used to it. Thee best recommendation is to practice mocks, identify and work on your weak areas.

If you have a component that scores 5 whilst you have to get 7.5 in it, I would say take a course or two as 2.5 points in IELTS is a huge gap. If it's only a mark or half a mark differences, you can always try Celpip - you'll only lose the fees.
