I got a notification today saying that my application was approved and my card was mailed. So, here is my timeline: Aug 16: landed Sept 11: ghost update Sept 16: called and found out that there was a production error during card print out. No timeline given Sept 25: approved and card mailed

Just wanted to keep folks updated. I called CIC today and they told me that there was a production error on Sept 11. There is NO note for photos or anything else that says something is missing. I'm not sure what's going on but just wanted to share this detail with others.

Not yet. Did you get a letter online stating that address wasn't provided? I haven't received any letters and haven't call CIS; just saw the ghost update today (i check the portal every other day). Just waiting patiently for it to work itself out.

A few things will happen. When your application is approved, it will clearly say that. Also, the Document Status will show up and the Document column will say something like 'Counterfoil' and you will be given a Document number. After that, it goes for printing which could take a couple of weeks...

My application was approved Friday, June 21st. Tracker activated Fri, June 28. Live in the US so expected delivery is Wed, July 3rd.

PPR is to get COPR. PPR - passport request. COPR - Confirmation of Permanent Residence.
