Finally!!! We got the PR. Out of nowhere a notification appears in our cic account that the spouse passed eligibility. Then, few days later an email pops in asking us to show up at immigration office to finalize the application. All in all it took us 27 months what was supposed to be 12 months...

There's some movement in our application too. Spouse's first medical expired and we have been asked to do them again, all this was almost a year ago. Now finally the second med exam appears as passed on the application. Huge delay but still better than nothing!!!

Gonna be two years soon. Last update to the file was in August, 2018. Nothing since, not even a relationship interview.

Not sure about that. Last week turned 19 months since we submitted our inland application and my wife is from EU. Has university degree, fluent in English, no criminal record etc.
