5 years tomorrow since we applied. 6 months since we won our court date and no correspondence yet. They claim they sent correspondence back in October on e-cas. :(

After you won your appeal in March, your spouse received his/her police and medical request within one month and had sent them to Ottawa already? We won ours in August and ecas claims they sent correspondence to my wife in October but she hasn't received anything yet.

On my wife's ecas it states that she was sent correspondence on Oct. 24, but she still hasn't received anything. Does anyone know how long it would take for her to receive this correspondence? I tried to email them a case-specific inquiry and they responded by stating that I am not authorized...

5th Christmas without my wife... second without my daughter (she's 2.3). *sigh* Merry Christmas, everyone!! lol

I assume that is if you are lucky. It's been 4 months since our appeal and my wife hasn't received anything. They also want a dna test for my 2 year old daughter and I now, and I've no clue to how long that will take.

Yeah, we sent that. I sent plenty of pictures and the flight receipts to show I was there for 3 weeks during period of conception, but still am to do a DNA test. I am just wondering what else I should have sent to save money and time.

I would like to hear from those who provided evidence for their paternal relationship. What evidence did you provide?

Hi Maddants, we won our appeal in August and I just noticed our ecas went up (active) in the 2nd week of November.

Hi. My wife and I won our appeal in Aug/15. She still hasn't received any forms from Singapore telling her to redo her medical and police reports. Does anyone know how long (usually) after the court case she might receive the forms? Thanks.

Is it a full hearing? If so, where? If in Toronto, you would be very lucky to get a court date in 2 years. Was the $3500 just to file the appeal, or for the court date representation as well?

yes. 2 years to get to interview, 3 more to get to appeal.

Are you going full court or adr? Full court in Toronto isn't 24 months like commonly stated. It's 30-36 months. Similarly, our daughter's citizenship isn't 12 months either - as commonly stated - as we are in our 20th month.

Are you sure about that? I thought that you had to provide evidence showing that you had sufficient income to be able to support who you are sponsoring.
