Yes we are one of those who have CoPR but cannot land because of COVID. My lawyer also said we are not PR yet, so if we remotely close the deal before we land, we will be subject to NRST

Yeah I talked with my lawyer and real estate agent. My lawyer is quite sure that I am subject to NRST when I close the deal if I am just holding my CoPR and have not landed yet, but can claim it back after I land. So my agent suggested us to put an offer maybe 1-2 months prior we arrive Canada...

The officer asked more details about my self employed experience and my business plan. I brought some of my work with me. The interview lasted for about an hour.

Received medical request today! I will guess IRCC is working but with limited services. So we just have to be patient and stay healthy, and update will come soon!

Same here!! I received pre-arrival in March too but waiting for medical request. I also guess it got delayed because of the virus at the moment...

Just got an update today! Was asked to attend an interview. Can anyone share how the interview will be like? Like what will the interviewer will ask and how can we better prepare for it? And only the main applicant is required to attend the interview isn’t it? Thanks a lot!!

I received an email notifying me that my application has arrived the local visa office

I think that is just an official letter sending to all applicants at that stage. Just an official one which you can also find on CIC website, like proof of relevant work experience.

I sent it via courier

My timeline is as below 2019-04-10: submitted application 2019-05-02: AOR 2019-06-29: biometrics request 2019-07-03: biometrics submitted 2019-11-06: arrived LVO, requested for additional document and police certificate 2019-11-15: submitted additional document and police certificate waiting...

Status changed to background check in progress...no update at all.. just wait and wait
