They keep offering oath invites for people taking the test since last month and yet, people like me who took the exam on March is still waiting for the invite. I really really don’t get it. At this point, I’m just thinking they are deliberately delaying it for some just so the overall processing...

Same question. I took the test on March 21, no oath invite until now

So in short, they don’t call your current/previous job, landlady or school unless they think you’re not telling the truth.

On what part of the process do they actually check for the veracity of the things we wrote on the application form like our previous addresses, jobs, school etc?

Why though? If you did the calculation accurately, there’s no need to worry. She even told me that everything looks good with my application. She specifically mentioned background check and residency.

That reminded me of what my interviewer told me since I applied on my 1097th day. She said “you can’t wait to apply, huh” and now, 3 weeks after my test, my file is still in process.

The spreadsheet will give you an idea how soon oath invites are given after passing the test in your city.

Did they say if something else is missing? I’m thinking that maybe you’re gonna be asked for fingerprints. Maybe. Is your name quite common?

Actually, OP said that background check is DONE already. And about the CIC hotline, isn’t that a call center? It’s separate from the people who are actually processing our applications.

Oh okay. Yup, she told me I got 19/20 and that there’s no question with my passport stamps and my whole application at all. That’s why I don’t understand why it’s still in process ;((((

It’s frustrating specially when all they can tell you is “you just have to wait”
