    Please note that Background Checks for January applications will be different than the ones submitted earlier.     There is a way, Make a gift deed on the current date and attach a separate undertaking on Stamp Paper from the person gifting the money/funds of the fact that the amount transferred in the past was an oral gift which has now been documented in written deed.

    Today I received my GCMS notes, which I had applied on May 20, 2019. Moreover, on checking my CIC Profile received Ghost Update and saw that Background checking has started. Fingers crossed, at least level of anxiety has reduced.

    A much simpler and Non-Technical way would be to go to "Express Entry" on the home page and clicking "Check full application status" and then on the next page clicking "View your profile" on the top.
