My prohibition, language skills and physical presence got completed today! Waiting for the oath now.. looks like it'll be few months!

Someone I know got their visa for India in one day on an emergency basis. You should definitely get in touch with Indian consulate. I know they're very compassionate when it comes to these things!

That's right, its cutting too close. But I know some people ask them to expedite the Citizenship certificate and passport can be done in 2 business days. I would say, before he reschedule his ceremony, talk to Indian consulate and get a tentative timeline.

Wrote my test on April 23 and status changed to completed today! Background and test are completed, everything else except ceremony is in progress!

It says in progress! (It's been saying "in progress" ever since the test invite on April 12

Did my test yesterday and passed successfully. Hopefully file moves quickly! Have travel plans in November.

I submitted mine in late July and got AOR on Oct 13. I received my FP request on March 9 and did it on the 11th. My BG was completed on April 1, but haven't received the test invitation yet

I was in a same boat, been here since 2011 and couldn't find one my study permits before my interview in May. However, the only reason they ask for it so that they can stamp it "Voided". You can bring whatever you have and they'll just void it. No issues at all. Good Luck!
