Mine is not yet approved, but passed everything according to CIC agent (got a ghost update) three weeks ago. The agent said application is still in progress. No update after that. AOR August 7, VO-CIO Sydney.

Spoke to a agent today. She said background check is completed and that is what triggered ghost update.

Thanks for the reply. Is it possible that security check is completed before eligibility? I thought security check is the final stage of processing.

I am also thinking along the same lines; however, the long waiting of people with March and April AOR makes me think other way around.

My file is also assigned to CB01126 based on GCMS notes received in March. CEC/Aug 7 AOR/eligibility RR/medicals passed/criminality passed/security not started. Eligibility RR for Quebec residence at the time of application. Now left job in Quebec and moved out of Canada (after living for 10...

I called +16139444000 using Skype from India. I was never able to go through those automated messages in the morning hours (EST) as the lines were always busy. Try calling in the afternoon (after midnight in India)..that is when I had my luck. Hope it helps.
