Hello all, Just have a couple of questions as I just received my open work permit and am eligible for a social insurance number. I applied online however, I received no confirmation email (I do have a confirmation number) and don't know anything about the processing time. Has anyone done this...

****January 2020 - Inland Spousal PR + OWP****

So I got AOR about a week ago and yesterday evening received a notice in the mail stating that my OWP was denied due to insufficient payment. (I paid the later half of the fee once I realized but they told me that I didn't have a case number so they couldn't tie it to my application). What do I...

OWP Exempt from open work permit fee

I believe that it expires at the end of February. I will go ahead and do that tonight when my husband gets home. I just submitted my application on the 6th, do you think that I have enough time to send in the money for my OWP before it gets sent back?

Yeah there was a chart where on one side it said I was not exempt and the other side said I was so we only paid half of it essentially. I'm going to get it paid tonight, thanks so much

OWP Exempt from open work permit fee

Hi, I'm getting a little nervous as it says a lot of people are being denied their OWP because they failed to pay the full $255. I'm an American on a TRV and when I looked at the fees, it says that I am exempt from the open work permit fee so we only paid $155 since that's what the fee wizard...

****January 2020 - Inland Spousal PR + OWP****

Geez, I'm getting nervous. I don't know when my visitor status will be expired... and I don't think it will be done in time for my application to begin processing. Am I correct in thinking it will be 2 months for them to start on my app and then 2-3 more months for owp?

Okay awesome! Thanks so much for the reply. In regards to the checkbox thing I've attached a picture. I get the N/A part, I'm talking about the boxes that seem miscellaneous like https://imgur.com/a/VdKPjZl Do I check the police certificates box in this example or do I leave it blank. I am...

Hi all and thanks in advance. I just want to make sure of a couple of things before I go ahead and submit my paper application for spousal sponsorship and pr (I'm the US citizen and my husband is the Canadian sponsor). We don't want to use a lawyer because it's pretty expensive and we are sure...
