Thanks for the post. Very helpful. Curious how you plan to apply for a PR card now given you wont still have the address before you move. I was under the impression the PR card must be applied by them at the border for first timers.

Sorry this might be already asked. I plan to complete export duties during my soft landing but NOT actually register it in the trip. I.e. I plan to take the vehicle (add to GTC and do all the formalities) but then plan to use my US DL, Insurance and Registration for 2-3 months then come back ...

Hey, sorry if I wasn't clear. I am wondering how does the USCIS agent knows that I only stayed 30 day when I come back to enter. If they scan my passport at exit (which means they keep a record) then it's fine. If not, then do I need to inform at exit that I plan to enter with-in 30 days on AVR

I have a question on departure stamp (if any required). Last time we used land border, to depart US and enter Canada, none of them stamped exit or entry. How do we prove, we are returning with-in 30 days? I don't recollect if US agents scanned our passports at exit.

I have a similar case. 10 years with my firm. 3 designations. Got a letter with from and to for each designation and roles and responsibilities for them. Got 3 letters with pretty much everything else the same just the responsibilities being different. Its a bit pain
