As an update, they DID send the COPR letter to my address in Canada, despite the fact that we have never told CIC that my husband was in Canada. It took the letter 13 days to get to Canada but if they had sent it to the correct address to my husband it would have likely been to us the next day...

CIC seemed to lag behind. Once we received the COPR then our CIC account was updated for several things (like background check etc.) but that all happened at the same time and the progress bar changed to 100% complete and it says "We are done processing your application". We don't remember it...

@Missey Yep, like @patvicto said it is most likely going to be months yet. My husband passed his medical exam March 27th and we just received our COPR this week.
