Thank you for replying. But I don't think they're moved to the local office after SA. We got SA on February 27th and our application is still in Montreal.

How did you find out it was moved to Calgary?

My question is: if they have so many applications to process, and we see other applicants from November being processed in other hubs already getting landing letters, why don't they transfer those delayed applications to those hubs?! That would make it so easier and faster.

Some people get DM letter, some don't. Most common is Landing Letter. I've seen Vancouver has a huge delay for landing appointments though. May I ask what additional documents they requested?

I agree. I argued that over the phone but the agent didn't know what to say.

Well, the GCMS notes also point out workshare as the reason for it to be sent to Montreal so I don't believe the agent was lying. We requested our notes again and now we gotta wait around 30 days to receive them and find out if anything has changed. So far we only have SA. No MR, AIP, BGC...Nothing.

You say it's not true but I was the one on the call with the IRCC agent, who put me on hold for 5min when he saw that my app was transferred to Montreal and then told me about the delay... But ok lol

We called IRCC this week and were told that the Montreal office currently has a 6-8 month delay starting from the day your application got transferred to them. I'm still waiting for MR and BGC hasn't even started yet.
