Yes on one of the pictures you need to mention the DATE OF BIRTH of whose picture it is with name as well and the date the picture is taken with the photo studios details. All of this would be mentioned in the VFS portal for Canada. :)

Its very simple... you will get these forms at vfs incase you forget to print it. Otherwise take a printout and fill with pen. Do take out the photographs that are requested at a studio because if you take out at vfs it is costly

Go in person to VFS. No post. You do not need to collect from VFS. At an additional cost you can get the passport couriered directly to your house from IRCC, DELHI.

Instructions would be given in your PPR letter that need to be followed. In my PPR letter no biometrics were mentioned and even while submitting the passport no biometrics were asked for
