Even if they ask your passports for the Oath? If it is just for the elegibility period, I wonder how they check then if you are compliant with Permanent Residence Obligations, specifically the physical presence obligation (a citizenship requirement).

Some people mentioned "Oath letter". Do you guys know if the Oath invitation, or FP requests, are sent by snail mail? I hope, if that is the case, that the tracker will reliably indicate that?

This messed up 2019 citizenship application nightmare has been very traumatic. It ruined many projects in my life. Now I wonder if after the end of this process, with the citzenship, we have to deal with these people again, ever. Just curious. Anyone?

I have to wonder if that is true. I saw so many people reporting a sudden surge of activity on their previously dead files after a notes request.

Their target is 12 months - thats precisely why 2019 applicants are being relegated to the backlog. We are to be an exception, while 2020 and 2021 applicants meet the target.

Has anyone requested your personal ATIP for CSIS? Is it worthwhile? I guess most of their info is top secret anyway, so your ATIP will come back to you mostly blank. No?

Overall ca. 3 months, I guess. Again, varies a lot.
