10 months in total, and 4 months from ready for review to ready for final review, then about a month till I got my report.

I have applied with CARNA today: $175 CAD. Next step is to fill out an hours practiced form and a Registered nurses experience form and just email it to them (much simpler!). I have filled this out and emailed them today. Their website says they have a 6-28.5 day turn around with a decision...

I applied 29th jan of this year, I got my report today. I have to apply to the board of nursing, but I have to still sit my NCLEX.

An update to say I got COMPARABLE! Yay!!! So happy all this is over! Random info: I studied in Australia at the university of the sunshine coast, graduated 2016.

Random update: My account has gone to final review about a week ago, all my forms and everything I sent states “meets requirements”. Thank god nothing more will need to be sent. How long was it for everyone else after it went to final review did it take to get a report?

They emailed back saying sorry for the delay, we dont have time lines, keep an eye out for any updates. how lovely.

Just a random update: Still no word from NNAS. 10 weeks ready for review now. I have re emailed them again, don't expect much other than " we don't need to give you a time line". But here's hoping.

update: currently at 6 weeks, ready for review. NNAS have said they do not need to provide any time line on when they need to process applications and can not give me a rough estimate of how many more weeks or months until i get any information.

Hi :) Only way is through the NNAS. Start as early as you can, often it is easier to do it from your home country, i would start now. It can take several months to just get your documentation in order, then 6 or so months for the NNAS to make a decision, sometimes longer- up to 12 months. Good...

Gosh this is so demotivating! I cant believe you got a non-comparable in pt assessment. Hopefully CNO will think otherwise, i have my fingers crossed for you.

WHen you get a Canadian registration you won’t need to worry about AHPRA. In the NNAS process AHPRA send your registration detail to them.
