I am wondering if you link your paper application to online. The person above you said he or she couldn’t find the interim pathway category to link your application. That was exactly like me. I couldn’t link and am just waiting. Is there any other ways that I don’t know?

I understand how much you are worried about. I am on the same boat. I didn’t apply for my work permit extension with PR application. CIC emailed me to apply for extension of my work permit so I followed through what they asked me to do. I am also waiting for extended workpermit.

Pre arrival email means you passed the eligibility that CIC(=IRCC) requested. I have received my pre arrival email and medical exam requested email at same day.
