Did you apply for CAQ for the first time or for extension? It doesn’t take more than 20 days once the documents are received by MIfi. Call them to know whether they received it or not. Or check your arrima if they are deposited.

I got my CAQ extended for 1.5 year after 10 days of submitting my missing documents.

You are lucky i must say, The CAQ office is very incompetent if see the reviews. I just wanted to extend for four months as i had to defer due to covid and now im going through all these hassle , above that my current caq will expire in aug 30. Hope to hear something good from them.

Working from home for a company in another country doesn't count as working in Canada. The limitation of 20 hours doesn't apply. You can find an official tweet regarding this from IRCC.

This is not likely affect your PGWP as due taxes has nothing to do with your pgwp unless you have rigorously broken the SP laws by working more than 20 hours.
