Last week we received Pre-Arrival Services and today I checked our application status and it says 'Decision Made' under PA! We haven't received an email or anything, but this is very exciting news!

We received an email yesterday saying that our file has been transferred to LVO.

I'm living outside Canada and I called the number via Skype and was able to talk to an agent. The woman I spoke to was very helpful. I would give it a shot if I were you!

Hiya, I'm not 100% sure, but I think that Australia is a visa exempt country, which means you can enter Canada under dual intent. Essentially, this means that you can arrive and state to the border agent that you are in the middle of applying for permanent residence and wish to wait in Canada...

The agent I spoke to was pretty vague. However, she did say that it was common for applications for British PAs to be held in Sydney until nearer the end of their process so as to not flood LVO. So it certainly sounded like ours was on route to LVO. I think we will likely do the same as you and...

If you are both either British or sponsoring a British PA, I would be interested in this info too. My husband is British and we just called IRCC for an update to find out that our application is still in Sydney.
