It is possible. Just provide proof of your employment as required and leave the proof of funds to your sponsor. I will be applying September and that's how I'll be presenting it. All the best and let me know how it went.

I know it's a way too late now but I would advise that you stick toj ust ONE sponsor to ensure clarity in your letter. I would suggest you present your inheritance and that of your uncle as proof of funds. I am saying so because it's easier to explain the motivation to sponsor in that regard...

They address the same thing. People tend to use the terms interchangeably. Just make sure to address all the questions asked and indicate your intention to return.
