I got ghost update today morning (EST) when I logged in to CIC portal. Fingers crossed !!

Mine is Aug 16th. Looks like they have a considerable backlog. Atleast that what I can conclude from my discussion with the representative and that fact that the processing times increased from 12 to 14 days.

I Called them on 29th and got it updated. If I had not called, don't know whether I would have ever come to know about this discrepancy. They said since it was updated on 29th, that means my processing times starts from this date instead of 16th (as if it was my fault !!! ).

Did you have any address issues ? I also landed on Aug 16th through Peace Bridge. But had to update the address on my dependents on 29th as it was not updated correctly by the landing officer

That's right. It changed today to 14 days even on cic website. Was 12 days until yesterday.

Did anyone try calling CIC today. Seems that they are not accepting calls. I called using hangouts (which I have done multiple times beofre) but the call is getting disconnected before being transferred to CIC EDIT - I was able to connect through text now (If calling from outside Canada)...

That's True. Even I tried calling today and couldn't reach them. Its getting disconnected. Any other tips ?

Thanks. I was told that they have sent a reminder to the concerned team who takes care of the printing of the cards, and to wait for 30 days before following up again. I will anyway call again next week to check the status.
