    GCMS Notes - Review Required R75, R87 , R76 , A11.2

I am sorry. Typo on my part. I meant Sep 2019 to Mar 2020 for review required in my case and not the dates i mentioned earlier. There really isn't much to be done to expedite it unfortunately but have faith. It will get processed soon.

    GCMS Notes - Review Required R75, R87 , R76 , A11.2

I guess mine was in review required from Sep 2020 till Feb or Mar 2021. My overall PR processing time from ITA to PPR was a few days less than 6 months though despite this so it did not cause a big impact as such. Your file is being processed in the middle of the pandemic with IRCC a little...

New Immigrants with Expired US DL (Exchange of License)

Mine has the same. I don't think the * has any significance. It probably is a placeholder within their system for G1 and G2 licenses but since it is a full G, they just mark it as *. I would not worry about it. Congrats on getting your license exchanged for a full G license !

New Immigrants with Expired US DL (Exchange of License)

Yes, I walked in to the Drivetest centre early in the morning around the time they opened and was out in about 15 minutes or so

New Immigrants with Expired US DL (Exchange of License)

COPR is the confirmation of perminent residency document. It is treated as the proof of residency till the actual PR card is received. You could check their website https://drivetest.ca/licences/licence-exchanges/licence-exchanges-cars-small-trucks-and-vans.html to see what requirements are...

Which is the best bank to open account with as a newcomer to Canada?

My apologies for hijacking this dormant thread. I just did not want to open a new thread for a topic that has been discussed before and this appears to be the latest one on this subject. I just wanted to point out my experiences with BMO and TD as far as newcomer programs go in Feb 2021 to help...

New Immigrants with Expired US DL (Exchange of License)

Just an update to everyone with a similar situation. I was able to get my expired US license exchanged for the paper one(The real one will be mailed to me after a few weeks) at the Mississauga Drivetest centre. The process was smooth with no questions asked despite my 1 year since US DL expiry...

New Immigrants with Expired US DL (Exchange of License)

Has anyone been able to do this recently? I have finally managed to land in Canada this month and my US license had expired on Feb 10 2020 so the 1 year expiry clause mentioned on the Drivetest website(for allowing exchanges) will end on Feb 10 2021. Will I be able to get the expired US license...

    COPR and coronavirus

@13nitinsharma , have you got your AL or new COPR yet? I recall you mentioning some positive changes in your profile some months back. Also, considering that medicals are expected to expire(Even with the 6 month extension) for some of the post March 18 COPR holders who got it in March or...

    COPR and coronavirus

I know it is and I have been doing it (mostly)daily as well but even you will agree that the number of tweets aren't quite that much. I am just asking that more people do it who haven't already so that we get a larger volume out there

    COPR and coronavirus

Hey guys, I know it is a long shot but let us try and retweet messages requesting an AL on Twitter with the expiredcopr hashtag. If the volume of these retweets is large enough then it may be looked at a bit more seriously by Canada than it is currently. With MPs like Raquel Dancho and Jenny...

    COPR and coronavirus

There was a guy on this thread who landed around September or so and who I had gotten in touch with. His ID is @RahulBatra. I am not sure if he is active on this forum any more but you could try reaching out to him and see if he responds. Other than that, all I can recommend is that you join...

    COPR and coronavirus

I don't think travel restrictions will get lifted on 30 Nov looking at how bad the current situation is in Canada. To be frank, I do not think the travel restrictions as a whole are going to be lifted for quite some time. However, if we are lucky, they may add more exemption criterias which...

    COPR and coronavirus

Hey guys, Is anyone else facing a time out issue when trying to log in to their profile? Is there some kind of maintenance activity going on today?

    COPR and coronavirus

Vaccines are not going to be available on a large scale for months and maybe even a year or so. First responders and people in the medical field will probably get the vaccine first and only then will it be rolled out to the rest of the population. I can't imagine that Canada would keep everyone...

Are you talking about today? I did have the ghost update and 502 error 2 days back. Nothing today so far.

    COPR and coronavirus

I see a ghost update as well right now and am getting the gateway error too when trying to get in. Unfortunately, the same ghost update happened earlier last month as well and then all we got were those cyclic updates - background check, medical passed, approved.
