I am printing out my schedule A(Background Declaration form) to sign, however I noticed that my printer only prints in Black and white, while the Original has colour on the letter head. Should it need to be printed in colour or is black and white fine?

No I didn't. Just carry both passports. The only issue is you can't use the electronic machines upon arrival. You will have to fill up a hand written arrival card

1- nope. You will need to apply for an extension later. 2 - yes you can use TRV on old passport to enter. Just carry both.
