    Office: Kitchener I did receive an email early March stating that my Oath will be sometime in mid April Got nothing in April Got an email this week for virtual oath next week No updates on ECAS

    This is great! But what is meant by "some"? Are they still giving it a try and based on the "some" sample they will decide? Or making it available for "urgent" cases. It is not clear at all.

    My lawyer just told me that, "As of May 1, 2020, IRCC has not resumed their cancellation for citizenship ceremonies, tests, interviews etc... You will be notified for new appointment once the local office resume to normal operation."

    I think Canada should start to sort this out and make use of technology to virtually do the oath. This the world now and for some long time due to that virus and the expected long wait for a working vaccine
