    This is really frustrating. My husband submitted his passport 2 weeks ago in New Delhi. And still hasn’t received his passport yet. Anyone else on the same boat?

    Wh en they ask you. It’s a good sign. I was asked police certificate and medical update. And after few weeks my husband requested passport request.

    This is all it says.....Your Permanent Resident document(s) will expire one year after the date of your medical examinations or earlier if your passport or the passports of your spouse or dependent children (if applicable) expire on an earlier date.

    Yeah I got the PPR. The visa is valid until your medical expires (that’s what the immigration officer told me) Before sending the PPR, they requested for a 2nd medical check so the visa is probably for 1 year. I’ll post you, my husband is going india this Sunday.

    Hey. So my husband received a passport request, in the letter on 6th page, it’s called Appendix A- updated information chart. It needs to be filled. Do I need to fill it hand written? I doesn’t give an option of me typing in the page. Thanks!
