Received notice that PR photos aren’t to specification post-landing

My husband had a similar situation in November of 2020 and it took a long time once we got the new photos back to them to send his PR card. There was no option at that time except snail mail to send pics to Immigration Canada, however, things may have changed by now. We landed on Oct. 26th...

Help: Waiting on PR card after 5 months

My husband arrived on Oct 26th, 2020 at YVR and it took just over 3 months to get his PR card when everyone arriving then was getting them in 3 or 4 weeks. I tried calling, like you, then sent a webform asking what was going on, no response. Finally I got my MP's office involved and when they...

Yes, all is normal on eCas however, we still don't have the card, so as usual just wait!

I don't believe the PR cards are processed in any different part of Canada no matter where you live. Ours is being processed in Nova Scotia, is that not where yours came from?

I have no idea but since you can't get anyone on the phone all I can do is send a webform and hope for an answer on the status of it. Really concerning that it takes that long now since the 'rules' say that if you don't have your PR card in 6 months you have to start the process all over again...

You're lucky you got your wife's PR card already. We arrived on October 26th and still haven't received it!! It was supposed to take 2 months they told us at the Vancouver Airport but the system now says 128 days which is just over 4 months!! It just seems that the frustrations with this whole...

No, you don't need any other travel document. My husband had his COPR, passport plus our ARRIVECan info and Marriage Certificate but was only asked for COPR, PP, and ARRIVECan info. His COPR arrived on Oct. 22nd just before noon and we flew out on Oct. 25th arrived in Vancouver, BC on Oct. 26th...

    COPR Errors

I believe you need to contact them right away if there are errors in the COPR. If you read the letter that accompanies it and visa, I'm sure it says to report any errors on COPR right away..

It seems UPS was asleep at the wheel or their dispatcher didn't send the driver but my passport package wasn't picked up until yesterday afternoon so they are doing a special delivery for us tomorrow morning, thank God! I need to book the flight - still planning on flying out on Sunday, 25th...

Nothing here either, actually I'm really worried because there is no information on the tracking number for the return prepaid package since Thursday. Mexico confirmed on Thursday last week that it was all done and waiting for the courier to pick up either then (Thurs) or Friday. But nothing...

21 months and passport is in Mexico but have no idea what they are doing with it since I have no access to GCKey and eCas hasn't updated since November 2019! Medical extension is until Dec 31, 2020 so hopefully they send COPR and passport soon since time is running out.

Yes, the visa is attached in the front of the passport and the COPR is sent back with it. Sounds like they've got the paperwork done anyway.

I know all we can do is hope, but it's certainly not looking "speedy" for us. It's been there for 14 days now. I don't have access to GCKey so can't tell what's going on and since they only send completed passports out on Thursday, we can only hope it will goes out then.

Excellent! How long did it take to get your COPR from Mexico? It seems like forever and still don't have it. We sent it on Sept 23, it arrived in Mexico on the 28th and should have been on it's way back as far as I'm concerned to arrive here on Wed. but not according to the tracking number they...

I'm sorry you initial application was refused, however it seems the more anxious we get the slower they go, so true all we can do is stay positive and hope that it's over soon.

You folks have only been waiting a year or a little more than that, so be patient. Most of us here have been waiting up to two years and some more. Mexico is not the best at communicating in a timely manner, and they are very slow at processing our applications because they are responsible for...

Yes, I was going to fly COPA but not sure now. Air Canada and WestJet have pulled all their flights that were schedule out of Costa Rica to Toronto and not flying now until Nov. 1st...as long as they don't cancel them as well! Most of the airlines won't refund your money unless you buy a...
