Anyone here that has not recieved acknowledgement email? I posted my application on June 19th and no email yet. I know friends that have posted June 25th and got their email last week. I called CIC and apparently they have received my application and provided me with an application number. But...

I also posted mine from Vancouver, and canada post clerk said they don't have 1 day delivery by priority post, and suggested xpress post.

I posted mine on June 19th by canada post xpress post and it was delivered on June 24th. They suggested xprespost is better than priority. Anyways I was also worried about my package so after I researched I found somewhere on cic page that if your package passed the deadline due to courier...

Are you sure? I just checked checklist and all requirements, only asking for marriage certificate (of sponsor).

So 8f you remarried, you should provide both marriage certificate and (old) divorce certificate?

May I ask why they asked divorce certificate and at what stage? If you're remarried and provided marriage certificate, do they still require ex-marriage divorce docs?

This happened to me 3 years ago with visitor visa. In my case the receipt didn't show up due to technical problems. I paid again and a month or so later cic returned my money. Try not to miss the deadline.
