Anyone here quit your studies in Canada, got a job offer, and applying/applied for work permit?

It is, as long as you either qualify for a work permit on your own or the employer is willing to sponsor your work permit.

    Wedding photos?

I don't want to disappoint you, but plenty of people get married at city hall without any big ceremonies or crowds. I did and had no problem getting spousal sponsorship approved with only two witnesses in my wedding party :)

Is meeting residency obligations difficult for you? Why?

You realize this is a public forum and anyone can say what they want? To be waiting for such a specific group of people that may be in the same situation, for anecdotal experience, will not yield many results. If you care about gaining citizenship, then you will need to make some choices to...

    Spousal immigration

To reiterate, a marriage license is not a marriage certificate. A marriage licence is a document that allows you to get married, it is not meant as a document to prove you got married.

PR card renewal residency obligation relaxation request emails to MPs and PM

Have you gone out of your way to advocate for other immigrants' situations when you compare them to other countries or are you just focused on the one rule that specifically affects your situation? Just curious.

    Extension refused..

I'm not sure that anyone here can provide you with peace of mind, to be quite honest. It's a messy situation and you need to fix it asap. I can't imagine that it didn't ever cross your mind that his extension may be refused someday.. But either way, do not delay. Frange and Canuck are correct...

How to knowingly stay outside of Canada for 730 days?

You can stay outside of Canada for a max 3 years before you risk losing your PR due to unfulfilled RO. There's nothing to explain, you just need to make sure you fulfill RO if you are interested in keeping your PR status. If you can't live here whatsoever within the timeframe you are given, then...

Car Buying & Registration at QUebec with US DL

Certainly. I remember during the summer they did have some walk-in locations as well. I would suggest getting there before opening hours - might be a line.

Car Buying & Registration at QUebec with US DL

Yes, you will need to make an appointment over the phone. My point being is try to call and make an appointment at a location further away from a densely populated location.

    Visa refused

Completely up to the officer reviewing your application. Remember, schools/universities are always happy to accept more paying (international) students, especially now that everything is online. Getting approved for a study visa is a completely different ballgame.

Car Buying & Registration at QUebec with US DL

The dealership in Montreal would not sell us a car without holding a QC license (we were holding BC licenses that were still valid). Only until we got the license were we able to buy and register. This was in the middle of the lockdown, and no special considerations were provided beyond being...

If IELTS requirements are not achieved

A language course will not help if you are interested in possibly immigrating later on. Not many get approved as it's hard to prove you need to study English specifically in Canada (and it's hard to justify the fees when you can study English anywhere in the world for cheaper).

Why are Tourist Visas taking longer due to Covid?

Because TRVs still need to go through background checks, just like any other application. This means that IRCC is working with the applicable agencies across the world to complete this in order to determine whether you are who you say you are, did not commit crimes in other countries, are not...

    How realistic is LMIA?

It's realistic as other people have qualified for and received them, if that's what your question is? It completely depends on your personal background and situation - it's not anything you can base off of statistics.

Inland Application: We left Canada to take care of family.

Sorry for your situation. Your application could very well be considered abandoned as you are supposed to stay inside country - nobody here will be able to tell you for sure what will happen, and you seem to be aware of the consequences. Is the sponsor a PR or citizen?

Procedural Fairness Letter received, by a silly mistake. How to overcome it?

There's nothing to understand about the truth - you were either truthful in the application to begin with, or your husband was 100% unaware of the refusal for some reason (which they understand doesn't usually happen). You should not be outright planning for an approval as misrepresentation is...

Procedural Fairness Letter received, by a silly mistake. How to overcome it?

You were unaware of a refusal? Depends on how they view your truthfulness about being unaware as they provide plenty of opportunities to disclose any previous refusals. Nobody can say for sure.
