Hi Folks, I have booked tickets on Visitor visa for my parents for a total duration of 178 days. I think the limit is 6 months which is 180 days. So I left a gap of 2 days for emergencies. Will the immigration officer be okay with this or should I reduce the days. Thank you!!

Then why do they have options for “Visitor” Visa in the drop-down in the online form ?

Yeah I got it yesterday. I did not track the updates on Tracker up till today. But here are high level timeline Applied Mar 26, Biometrics Request generated immediately. Did Biometrics on Apr 11 and got Passport Submission and Biometrics Validity on 19th Apr.

You will get 100 days credit. Just take the days you spent in Canada and divide them into half.
