After a long wait (4th Nov AOR) I got my ppr on Thursday 22nd August! I'm a little confused about whether I need to send my actual passport to the processing centre since Canada asks for an electronic travel authorization rather than a visa. Anyone have any idea?

Long time watcher here. My AOR was 4 November, and I've had no change in my online account since 14 December. I was told by an operator in January that I was a recommended pass - but since then there has been absolutely nothing. Perhaps the most depressing element of it all is the sheer...

Does anyone know what is covered by eligibility and what is covered by background checks? I managed to speak to a very helpful agent today who told me that I had passed eligibility and background was in process. My AOR is 6 November.
